Sandy “Nina” Thompson has been helping buyers and sellers on the east side of Oahu for over 15 years, from the shores of Waikiki through Diamond Head, Kahala and Hawaii Kai. She got her real estate license in California in 1988, was a broker in vibrant Boston, MA running a fast-paced office on Tremont Street, and went on to become a top producer in Hawaii. Her success is built on excellent service and relationships, with the mission to put her clients’ best interests first.
Nominated for the prestigious Aloha Aina Award 10+ times, Sandy is respected by clients and peers. She has an in-depth knowledge of transactions, wills, trusts, probate and 1031 exchanges, and collaborates with local attorneys and banks to help clients achieve their goals while gleaning a healthy understanding of the process.
Her international sales accomplishments are impressive, evidenced by her diverse clientele and affiliation with Sotheby’s global reach that includes nine offices in Japan. Over the decades Sandy has learned to stay focused, flexible, on top of market conditions, and open to learning with each transaction. She has a creative side as well and loves decorating. Sandy takes pride in offering island-style staging services to her sellers. She owns several investment properties and has vast insight of the district neighborhoods in Kailua and Kaneohe having lived in Lani Kai.
Born and raised on the east coast, Sandy became an entrepreneur at a young age and was the first female sales rep in the Silicon Valley.
